Chris Ware, one of the most renowned names in comics thanks to his works like Jimmy Corrigan, The Smartest Kid on Earth or Acme Novelty Library, contributed the cover to this week’s The New Yorker. Given that it’s the “Money Issue” and that unemployment rates are astronomical right now, this cover is depressing and poignant, and another fine contribution to Ware’s growing list of New Yorker Covers.
