Spider-Man is busy these days. He has an Amazing (no pun intended) ongoing, he’s a member of the New Avengers, and he also will be joining the Future Foundation to be Johnny Storm’s replacement on the FF. So where does he have time to deal with the oncoming onslaught of evil present in Fear Itself?
With a Chris Yost mini with art by Mike McKone, that’s where. With a 3 issue mini starting in May, Yost and McKone put Spider-Man in the middle of Fear Itself, trying to help the citizens of New York battle against – well, fear itself, as the Marvel universe is torn apart at the seams. This is going to be the first of many mini’s tying in to the event, possibly also including the aforementioned X-Men minis that were rumored. Yost has been doing a lot of All Ages stuff for Marvel recently, so it’s nice to see him back in the older kids category too, and more McKone is always good.
