Last month, we launched a new feature called Multiversity Coffee Break. Scott Snyder and I sat down and discussed horror in all of its forms in the first episode, Joshua Williamson and I discussed 90s comics in the second, Mags Visaggio and I talked Star Trek in the third. Hunter Gorinson and I geeked out over punk rock two weeks ago. Last week, Sina Grace walked me through Cliffhanger, the Wildstorm imprint. And this week, we welcome artist Liana Kangas to the show!
We first met Liana at New York Comic Con 2018 at the 2000AD booth, and we had a really fun conversation along with her collaborator Katy Rex. Since then, she’s been blowing up on books like “She Said Destroy” for Vault and “BLACK [AF]: Devil’s Dye” for Black Mask. She also contributed art to a GWAR anthology – how cool is that? She’s currently running a Kickstarter for “TRVE KVLT,” described on the Kickstarter as ‘A Heavy Metal Fast Food Crime Comic.’
