On the verge of Artist August starting tomorrow, I wanted to share something I saw unfold on Twitter recently. Skottie Young asked the above question, wondering what inspired other artists to know they could go from being fans of comics to being artists themselves. What followed was a ton of great artists sharing their inspirations, which really ran the gamut of genres, time periods and styles.
