Does ComiXology Availability Affect Your Reading? [Reader Poll]

Earlier this week, comiXology made news by securing the digital distribution rights to both “Weekly Shonen Jump” from VIZ Media, as well as a variety of Kodansha Comics titles (such as “Attack on Titan” and “Cage of Eden”). While this is surely nice news for comiXology, both VIZ and Kodansha have had digital editions available either on their own site, or through iBooks, Kindle, Nook, etc. Recently, Dark Horse has also started to add some of their catalog to comiXology, after being exclusive to their own, proprietary service for some time.

Reading this news begs the question: for those that purchase digital comics, is this a big deal to you? Are you more likely to try out a new title if you can purchase it through the comiXology app, rather than having to seek it out on your own? If so, why?

Take our survey below, and then sound off in the comments!
