Every year we are given quite a few conventions to celebrate the medium with, and at most of the bigger shows we now get various exclusives. Whether it’s the sheer spending money overload at SDCC with lines and tickets, the quiet dignity and grave of ECCC’s various show exclusives or that strange middle-ground that is NYCC, convention exclusives are here to stay, part of the game and some of the fun. Now lets look at what ComixTribe are bringing to the party.

Not only will the ComixTribe crew be bringing their usual array of wit and charm to the show, but they’ll be debuting two show exclusives this year. The first will be the artist edition of “And Then Emily Was Gone” #1, the critically acclaimed horror comic from John Lees and Ian Laurie now in black and white (and still retaining letters from Scotland’s own Colin Bell, though lacking the wonderful colors of Megan Wilson). In addition to that, ComixTribe will debuting a black and white preview edition of their latest “Oxymoron” mini-series entitled ‘The Longest Nightmare,’ and you can catch a preview of that (as well as what your cover of “And Then Emily Was Gone” could look like once you pick it up) right here:

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
