The very first thing I wrote for this site was a column in which I highlighted top notch books that were not selling nearly as much as they should be, and one was Brahm Revel’s (previously) Image series Guerillas. This series that bridges the real parts of war with the fantastical (with chimps!) is an incredibly good one, and is definitely a story that deserves to be told.
Now at Oni Press being released in a series of three collections, Revel needs the comic book world’s help getting the second volume produced and released. He has started a Kickstarter page, and he needs $4,700 by July 19th to hit his goal.
If you are interested in supporting quality, creator-owned comics, throw a little cash Brahm’s way. It will be very worth it, and depending on how much you contribute you can get anything from a sketch to your likeness being drawn into the book. How cool would that be, comic fans?
