Teased over at iFanboy, it looks like March will see the return of Paul Cornell to the Marvel camp after an extended absence at DC. The loss of Cornell was a big one for Marvel, as his “Captain Britain” run was critically acclaimed and his immediate “Action Comics” run was even more so. However, as he departs from “Stormwatch” and “Demon Knights,” it looks like someone at Marvel figured out what it took to bring him back, and apparently it involves claws.

And which Davis is it? Alan Davis, legendary artist of “Excalibur?” Shane Davis, the artist of “Superman: Earth One?” One of those two is a safe bet, most likely.

So what’s the book? A fourth Wolverine title? Not likely. But something involving him, or even X-23? We’ll see soon.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
