Artist David Finch has been knocking out great covers left and right ever since moving over to DC Comics, but he truly outdid himself with the cover for the upcoming Action Comics #900, released earlier today by DC’s blog The Source. According to The Source, this landmark issue will not only have a whopping 50 pages of story from the book’s current creative team — Paul Cornell and Pete Woods, for those of you now in the know — but it will also have some short stories by “some very exciting names to be announced soon.” I’m guessing that this will be the issue where Lex and the Man of Steel finally meet again for the first time since New Krypton, and I know Paul Cornell will not let us down. We’ll let you know the details once we find out, but until then let’s admire that outstanding cover.
