Craig Thompson presents HABIBI by gavlees
Craig Thompson is a critically celebrated writer/artist with a new book out that you may have heard about his new book Habibi (which we have discussed previously on the site). However, for whatever reason, you may not own it yet. This should be corrected, and we’re here to help convince you why.

While we don’t have a written review for you on the site (yet), the above video recorded at the Seattle Public Library features Thompson himself discussing the creation of the book, his process and inspiration, and everything you could possibly want to know about the sprawling epic. If you have thirty minutes to spare, the above presentation from Thompson is incredibly fascinating.

Since it’s Monday morning and, for most Americans, it’s a day off from work, grab your morning coffee, get comfortable, and spend your morning watching the above video. For incoming fans of the book and those of you who have already read it, it’s a very worthwhile presentation to watch.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
