Creator of “Habibi” and the award-winning “Blankets”, Criag Thompson has signed on a deal with Scholastic to create an all ages graphic novel titled “Space Dumplins”, as Robot 6 reports.
The book, described by Thompson’s agent PJ Mark, is about “a little girl and her misfit friends who set out to rescue her father from the belly of a planet-eating space whale.” Sounds like a load of fun, especially for kids, and will no doubt look gorgeous with Thompson at the helm. Keep an eye out for more info on this one in the future.
