Dark Horse Comics have announced “Cuphead: Comic Capers & Curios,” a graphic novel based on Studio MDHR’s popular video game. Written by Zack Keller (“Death Head”) with art by “Popeye” alum Shawn Dickinson, the graphic novel will star the eponymous Cuphead and his brother Mugman in a series of new misadventures.

The book’s art will match the unique, 1930s cartoon-inspired art style synonymous with the video game. The comic has “Cuphead and Mugman feature front and center in a series of short but sweet side stories that reimagine the world of the all-cartoon magical wondergame.”

With a Cuphead TV series in the works at Netflix and an expansion to the original game scheduled for a 2020 release, the future of Cuphead is brighter than ever. The graphic novel will be available at your local comic shop on June 17th.
