Courtesy of Rich Johnston at Bleeding Cool, take a look at the above tease from the end of the .1 issue of Amazing Spider-Man from Dan Slott. It gives a rather succinct look at what’s coming in the future of the title, including the death of Anti-Venom and the return of Sinister Six. Considering that Dan Slott’s current run on the book began with Spidey and the Avengers fighting off Doc Ock, it looks like Dan Slott might just have a very deep plot running here. We’ve also got Mary Jane with powers, a new Goblin hook-up (ew), and a space trip along with an upcoming mystery reveal. Huh. Also – The End Times? Uh oh.
Either way, Dan Slott clearly has a plan here, and this teaser is a nice way to show fans that he knows exactly where the title is going. Should put those haters who don’t think he is a fan to rest, I’d imagine.
