Danger Girl / G.I. Joe Crossover Coming From IDW

IDW Publishing has announced a crossover between G.I. Joe and J. Scott Campbell’s Danger Girl. A posting on IDW’s Facebook page yesterday revealed the event, giving very few details outside of the crossover itself and the creative team:

“CROSSOVER OF THE CENTURY ALERT: DANGER GIRL and GI JOE are teaming up! Campbell! Hartnell! Royle! Barber! Dunbier!”

We here at Multiversity pride ourselves on staying abreast of all things G.I. Joe, but honestly, folks, we didn’t see this one coming. In retrospect, a pairing of the two seems like a no-brainer: J. Scott Campbell’s love of G.I. Joe is no secret. He’s done numerous covers for various issues and collections since the Image/Devil’s Due relaunch in 2001, and his Joe-centered con sketches are legendary among us die-hard, such as these examples:
