Multiversity has long had a very close relationship with the book “Enormous,” and we’ve never been shy about showing love for the series. In fact, after it debuted in an over-sized graphic novella at Image, we serialized the entire series here on our website. So to say we promote and endorse the book is probably an understatement, right?

Well, after being quiet on the Western front for some time, I am here to tell you that “Enormous” is officially returning next year with a double-sized opener that will blow your monster-loving socks off. With Machinima and Adrian Askarieh officially putting the adaptation of “Enormous” into production, the comic is coming back with a vengeance as well. No mercy.

So to whet your appetite, the creative team of “Enormous” have provided us this double-page spread from the second issue:

From series creator Tim Daniel:

Following the announcement of Machinima’s screen adaptation of Enormous, creators Tim Daniel and Mehdi Cheggour, wanted to let readers get an eyeful of their new series, which is slated to return to print in 2014. This double page spread from Issue #2, reveals one of the deadly predators from the series in all her monstrous glory.

Expect that and more. 2014 will be a big year for “Enormous” — pun intended.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
