As Matt Hollingsworth tweeted earlier today, it looks like the long awaited “Daredevil: End of Days” by Brian Michael Bendis and David Mack is moving into production. Last time it was mentioned, it was supposed to be released in Fall 2011.

Written by Bendis and Mack with pencils by Klaus Janson, inks by Bill Sienkiewicz, colors by Hollingsworth and covers by Alex Maleev, the book was originally discussed back in 2007 and planned as a six-issue mini in line with Marvel’s “The End” line, which concerned the final stories of characters. “End of Days” was to be about the death of Daredevil and was supposed to be in continuity sometime in the unknown future. It was also going to feature almost all of Daredevil’s past rogues and loves coming back to haunt him in one form or fashion.

Hopefully this project will see the light of day by the end of this year, and if Hollingsworth is doing the colors on it now one could possibly assume an issue or two is just about done. We won’t be putting any money down on it coming out this year just in case, but keep your eyes peeled for it to possibly appear in solicits later this year.

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
