Announced over at USA Today, it looks like Brian Bendis will be bringing Daredevil into the New Avengers. Some of you might remember that the original Daredevil “declined” admission to the group (i.e. Bendis wrote that he said no), but it looks like now Bendis misses writing the character enough that, with the new post-Fear Itself arc, Daredevil will be joining the team.
Daredevil will be seeking redemption for his actions during Shadowland in the upcoming story, choosing teamwork in New Avengers to be a way to do this.
Here’s the real kicker: the announced ages ago arc “End Of Days” will actually be happening (no, you didn’t read that wrong). As it says in USA Today, “This fall also will finally see the release of Bendis’Daredevil: End of Days miniseries, a The End story written by him and David Mack with art by Klaus Janson, Bill Sienkiewicz and Alex Maleev. Bendis has been quiet in it because it didn’t match what was going on inShadowland, “so we put it on the backburner,” he says. “It’s really, really beautiful.”” So. How ’bout them apples?
We don’t have a proper picture for you yet, but when we do we’ll update the post accordingly. Until then, look forward to some good old fashioned Daredevil from Mr. Brian Bendis. Now how much longer until Daredevil shows up in Moon Knight?
