“Daredevil” Relaunching in 2014 From Mark Waid and Chris Samnee

Does that headline look eerily familiar? Well, it should – because the team that is wrapping up “Daredevil” in March – writer Mark Waid and artist Chris Samnee – is relaunching the book in March, under the “All-New Marvel NOW!” banner, according to a Nerdist exclusive interview with the creative team.

We do know a few things about the relaunched title:

– This takes place after the events of the Waid-penned, Peter Krause-illustrated “Daredevil: Road Warrior” Marvel Infinite Comics digital series, which launches after series finale #36 drops in February.

– The series takes Matt Murdock out of Hell’s Kitchen and into…San Francisco?

– The relaunch is happening now, as opposed to last year, because, to quote Waid, “we’re about to change literally every aspect of Matt Murdock’s life. Every aspect.”

Exciting stuff! Check out the cover above, and the Alex Ross variant cover (which is a CBR exclusive), below.
