Maybe it'll look a little something like this?

Ok, so: “The Boys” with Garth Ennis is wrapping up. “Happy” with Grant Morrison is coming out closer to the end of the year. But that’s not all: Darick Robertson is going to be a third book on top of all those.

So what news do we have? Well, from an interview regarding MorrisonCon (with a tip of the hat to Bleeding Cool), Robertson revealed that he is going to be doing a creator-owned book with Christos Gage at DC Comics. This could really mean that it’ll find a home at Vertigo, but that’s semantics. No news on if it is an ongoing or a mini or what, but Gage and Robertson have both proven themselves as talented guys in the past so it’ll assuredly be worth the look.

The question now is just what’s it all about? Robertson and Gage both have a history with dark creator-owned titles (“The Boys” recently for Robertson, and “Absolution” by Gage certainly had it’s shocking moments), so are we looking at a new mash-up of violence? Or perhaps something in a completely different direction?

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
