Dark Horse Comics has been one of the most consistent purveyors of horror comics over the past 20 years, and lately they have been featuring vampires in a variety of books, and in a variety of ways.

To show you that they, in fact, do vampires right, the good folks at Dark Horse have released a new, 55-page, free digital sampler called, shockingly, “Dark Horse Does Vampires Right.” It contains material from “Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 9,” “Angel and Faith,” “Baltimore,” “the Strain” and “House of Night.”

This is a great way to check out some of Dark Horse’s blood-sucking titles yourself, or to pass it along to a friend who might not be a current comics reader. It’s free – what have you got to lose?

And while you’re at it, check out more of Dark Horse’s free digital offerings – they are one of the most generous publishers out there, in terms of free content on their website.
