Well, this is pretty crazy cool news. In addition to previously announced “Prometheus” and the recently announced “Predator” comic by Joshua Williamson, today finds the announcement of an “Alien vs. Predator” comic written by Multiversity Favorite Chris Sebela over at CBR.
Greating a group of books related to the iconic creatures created by Moebius, Scott and Giger as well as Arnold Schwarzenegger’s old foe, this isn’t Dark Horse’s first foray into this series — but is instead a brand new concentrated effort to really build upon the building blocks of a shared universe created by the sci-fi films. Written in a writer’s room format according to Sebela, all of the books will be heavily connected with one another in order to create a cohesive clash of franchises in order to re-establish all of these characters and iconic monsters for a new audience in comics.
Personally? I’m just stoked we’ve got guys like Josh Williams and Chris Sebela attached to these. Totally awesome creators who are going to do a totally bang-up job of the task. Count us in!
