Back in March, we told you that after DeConnick and Noto’s rather excellent “Ghost” mini, an ongoing was coming featuring DeConnick’s sometimes-“Captain Marvel” co-writer Chris Sebela (“High Crimes” on Monkeybrain). We couldn’t tell you the artist though.

Looks like now we can!

As announced at CBR, Dark Horse’s new “Ghost” ongoing with DeConnick and Sebela is slated to return this November, and will be illustrated by — y’all ready for this? — Ryan Sook! With a cover by Terry Dodson to boot! Oh man, oh man.

Picking up where the last “Ghost” mini left off, this new revitalization of the series will find Elisa and her new friends, rounding up demons and looking for answers in all the wrong places — except for her, they’re clearly the right places. Vaughn and Tommy both return, there’s hints that the Demon mayor may even be back and more in this supernatural book that is sure to need a home in your pull list when it launches in November.

So that’s some good news as SDCC begins to kick off. We’re starting on such a high note, I imagine it only gets better from here.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
