In advance of Monday’s release of DC’s April solicitations, DC announced two of their books will be changing creative teams come issue #19.

First up is “Swamp Thing,” which is losing writer Scott Snyder and artist Yanick Paquette but gaining writer Charles Soule (“27”) and artist Kano (“Action Comics,” “Gotham Central”). i09 has an interview with Soule here, and above is the cover to #19 by Andy Brase (“The Incredible Hulk,” “Kull”). Soule says he wants to work in small, 1-3 issue stories, which would be a significant change from how the book has been handled thus far in the New 52.

Over in Gotham, “Red Hood and the Outlaws” welcomes writer James Tynion IV (“Talon,” back-ups in “Batman”) and artist Mico Suayan (“Batman: Arkham Unhinged,” “X-Men Legacy”), who are taking the reigns from Scott Lobdell and Timothy Green II. Suayan has been providing covers since issue #17, and Tynion is one of a few new writers DC has paired with more established writers before giving them their own series (Kyle Higgins and Tynion with Snyder, Matt Kindt and Ray Fawkes with Jeff Lemire). Newsarama chats with Tynion here about his first arc, which will be focused primarily on Roy Harper.

Both new teams start in April.
