Don’t know how we missed this one, but there it is.
We all know about the “Teen Titans” (out now), “Animal Man” and “Batman” annual for May, but this week it looks like DC announced a whole bunch more over on their blog. It’s an interesting line-up as well, and the last option may even surprise you a little bit.
So what do we have? A “Detective Comics Annual”, written by Tony Daniel and illustrated by Romano Molenaar and Sandu Florea that deals with the DCnU version of Black Mask; a “Superman Annual” written by Kieth Giffen with an unannounced artist with Superman placed in a cosmic game show; “The Flash Annual” from current Flash creative team Francis Manapul and Brian Buccellato that features the Rogues re-uniting and going after both Flash and Captain Cold; a “Green Lantern Annual” from Geoff Johns and former collaborator Ethan Van Sciver which brings to a conclusion the Black Hand story and sets up the next big Green Lantern story; and a “Justice League International Annual”, written by Geoff Johns and Dan DiDio with Jason Fabok on art which deals with fallout from “Justice League” #12.
All of the annuals are 48-pages long, and all of them are currently solicited for August 29th. Take a look below for the covers.
