DC Celebrates Last Night’s Eclipse with a New “Futures End” Teaser

Last night during the blood moon eclipse that so many people went out and took relatively OK photos of, DC in turn posted a new teaser for their upcoming weekly series “Futures End,” which features the return of former crisis symbol of red skies and a blood moon.

Done in an MC Escher style, the teaser features most of what we knew would be in the event, such as Stormwatch and Batman Beyond. We also get confirmation of Cadmus’ role in the event, as well as the return of Mr. Terrific. I’m not sure what you could perhaps parse in terms of actual information here (unlike DC’s big “Batman Eternal” tease), but I suppose it’s worth noting that just about everyone here is in some form of action stance, with a lot of general eyes upward — assumedly to the blood moon/sky.

Have any thoughts on what any of this could mean? Let us know in the comments below.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
