Yesterday, DC gave out several teasers care of Geoff Johns for their new upcoming event, Flashpoint (of which we kept you up to date. Today, DC is clearing up some of the information. Take a look below.

So where did we go wrong? Apparently the “arranged marriage” had to deal with Wonder Woman and Aquaman, where we assumed it was Aquaman and Mera – and the “missing ring” comment was about the Flash himself and not Green Lantern. This new teaser also doesn’t feature two of the teases, so it’s safe to say that it’s possible that could be coming later.

We also have redesigned logos here, which is fairly snazzy and aligns with Wonder Woman’s different costume from the original Flashpoint teaser. It’s probably also a safe bet that Batman is one of the primary villains here.

One thing of note: based on the tease of Flashpoint that appeared in Flash #1, and the new information given, we’re putting our money on the spaceship that never crashed referring to Abin Sur, and the character who was brought to a lab and experimented on being Superman instead of Martian Manhunter. Are we right? Only time will tell.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
