In a preview of tomorrow’s DC Connect #18, DC Comics have announced “Justice League vs. the Legion of Super-Heroes,” a six-issue miniseries by writer Brian Michael Bendis, and artist Scott Godlewski, starting January 11, 2022. The series will see the two teams allying to stop a Great Darkness emerging in both of their time periods, and uncovering the secret connection the 31st century’s Gold Lanterns have to the threat.

Also announced was “Batman: The Knight,” a ten-issue maxiseries by writer Chip Zdarsky and artist Carmine Di Giandomenico that will explore Bruce Wayne’s youth, and how the “angry, damaged young man [grew] into the most accomplished detective and crime-fighter the world has ever known.” The series begins January 18, and the first issue will retail at 40 pages for $4.99.

Furthermore, writer Garth Ennis and artist Garry Brown will collaborate on “Peacemaker: Disturbing the Peace,” a prestige one-shot that will dive into Christopher Smith’s backstory as he attends a psychiatry session. The 40-page comic will be released the same month as The Suicide Squad spin-off with John Cena, Peacemaker, launches on HBO Max, and will retail for $6.99.
