DC Comics have announced their December crossover event, ‘Justice League: Endless Winter.’ Writers Andy Lanning and Ron Marz will be helming the event, with a host of artists including Howard Porter and Carmine Di Giandomenico. The story will see the Justice League pitted against the Frost King, a foe from the Viking Age, who has resurfaced in the former site of the Fortress of Solitude, and is threatening the world with an extinction level global storm. The event will feature two timelines, with events in the past connected to Hippolyta, Swamp Thing, Viking Prince, and Black Adam, holding answers to the mystery in the present.

The crossover will consist of nine comics, beginning and ending with “Justice League: Endless Winter” #1 and #2, respectively, and crossover into “The Flash” #767, “Aquaman” #66, “Justice League” #58, “Justice League Dark” #29, with “Superman: Endless Winter Special” #1, “Teen Titans: Endless Winter Special” #1, and “Black Adam: Endless Winter Special” #1 making up the remainder of the event. Artist Marco Santucci will provide the artwork for the back-up stories included in eight of the nine crossover issues.

The ‘Endless Winter’ crossover event will start with the release of “Justice League: Endless Winter” #1 on December 1, with the entirety of the event being published across the five weeks in the month. You can see the full solicitations for each part of the crossover at CBR.
