DC Comics have launched a new anthology series called “Let Them Live!: Unpublished Tales from the DC Vault,” on their recently relaunched DC Universe Infinite platform. The series will see Ambush Bug guiding readers through different comic book issues that were never published, and speculating about why they were never released, with the pages of his framing sequence being the collaborative efforts of writer Elliott Kalan, artist Mike Norton, colorist Marissa Louise, and letterer Saida Temofonte.
“Let Them Live!” #1 plays host to writer Jim Zub, artist Tradd Moore, colorist Felipe Sobreiro, and letterer Nate Piekos’s unreleased Suicide Squad “done-in-one” issue from 2011, which sees Task Force X fighting against a mad scientist and his army of monsters.
Details regarding future entries in the series, such as the creative teams involved and the periods of time that the issues were created in have not been announced, nor has a schedule for “Let Them Live”‘s own publication been released.
DC Comics previously provided a home for unpublished works in the late 1970s with “Cancelled Comic Cavalcade” issues #1 and #2.
“Let Them Live!: Unpublished Tales from the DC Vault” #1 is available exclusively on DC Universe Infinite now. Preview pages are available for you to check out over at The Beat.
