We previously reported on the “Convergence” event DC announced earlier this week, but today DC has released an expanded bit of promotional artwork. Illustrated by Carlo Pagulayan and Jose Marzan Jr with colors by Hi-Fi the image shows the New 52 Braniac surveying all kinds of alternate realities that will assumedly be involved with the nine-week event from DC next April and May. The series is set to be written by the Jeff Lemire of Earth-2, Jeff King, alongside a #0 by Dan Jurgens and assistance from Scott Lobdell, and will find all of these different realities and timelines converging as Brian experiments with what happens when the worlds here meet.

So, can you name all the worlds seen here? Some are obvious — “Red Son”, “Kingdom Come”, and “Flashpoint” for instance — but feel free to sign off with what you see and what you think it means in the comments below. I’m just glad the Zoo Crew are finally going to get the respect they deserve.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
