We posted a piece of the puzzle last week, but DC has decided to go and give us the whole enchilada. As seen above, here is the finished puzzle featuring art by Ryan Sook, with additional artistry from Fernando Pasarin and Joel Gomez according to DCU’s blog (as well as a “guiding hand” by Jim Lee).
It’s an interesting piece. As we noted last week, you can see all the entities trapped within the center. You’ve got Nekron at the top, and the mysterious new Guardian character at the bottom grabbing at the White Lantern. Well, that can’t be good! Of course, the one thing I find interesting about this piece are the poses of everyone. Look at the Hawkman and Hawkgirl – they’re not even looking at each other. In fact, they’re facing away. Jade is curled up into a ball. Firestorm looks positively sinister!
So, as we all love to say now – and it’s seemingly appropriate here given the Lantern Color thing – WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
