As part of their August solicits (which we’ll discuss more later), DC revealed that the long-teased Swamp Thing/Animal Man crossover (previously titled ‘Deadworld’) is coming in August, now known as ‘Rotworld.’ The team-up features Animal Man and Swamp Thing teaming up to go against the Rot, combining their intertwining mythology and finally bringing the two writers together.

So what better way to tease it all than with a mural-esque cover by Steve Pugh and Yanick Paquette?

For those curious, here is the solicit info for August’s “Swamp Thing” and “Animal Man” #12:

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
