For Flashpoint Friday (which we missed thanks to our site going down), DC announced that both Flashpoint #4 and #5 will be coming out in August, quickly wrapping up the event that started last week. Of course, the trick to the quick ending is the following bit of info from DC’s The Source:

IMPORTANT NOTE: Because of its impact on the DC Universe, FLASHPOINT #5 is the only title that DC Comics is currently soliciting to arrive in stores on August 31.

Well then. Looks like some shit is going down, eh? It will be interesting to see DC’s full solicits for August, which should be out sometime next week. It should be even more interesting to see what’s coming out in September as well, because if Flashpoint #5 is so epicly huge that no other DC book can exist at the same time, I can only imagine what sort of bombastic thing is going to happen.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
