Wow, it has been a while since we’ve talked about this. But hey, we promised to keep you updated, and so we shall.
Before the DC Reboot happened, DC was publishing a “Doc Savage” series that had a planned 18 issues and only ever reached 17. The series ended with a “to be concluded” note that we assumed would never actually see resolution, and for anyone who had invested in “Doc Savage” this was assumedly a point of frustration. Rightly so.
Now, as spied by Bleeding Cool, it appears that “Doc Savage” has simply arrived online via Comixology, only really noticeable right now thanks to a big $0.99 sale going on. The update appears to have come online a day ago with an “Aug ’12” release date on the cover, with the following information:
Series finale–released for the first time digitally, never available in print! Doc Savage confronts the mad Russian scientist in a desperate bid to stop the mad villain’s plans for the corpse of Genghis Khan!
Well, there you have it folks. If you’ve been waiting to see how it all ends, now you can.
