Starting next month, DCU Online will be free to play and lose it’s month to month subscription fee. The game will be made available to download online, and will be split into three tiers of gameplay: free, premium and legendary.
For those who choose to play the game for free, you will be given access to all current gameplay, including the creation of two characters and the ability to join a league. If you have spent at least $5 on the game previously, you will be updated to Premium status, and will be able to create additional characters, have greater inventory slots and higher cash limits. Additionally, Legendary status will be given for those willing to pay $14.99 a month for the game, and will include downloadable content.
