In a very quiet move, Sony Online Entertainment gave IGN a brand new internet press release with information about it’s final release date. We’ve seen this game be in development for two years, even having a playable version appear at E3 last year. Now, according to the press release, we should expect the game this year in November!
The big news came at a recent Sony Online Entertainment event where the company was showing off the E3 demo of the game. Like I just wrote, IGN’s previewed this game a bunch of times before so I won’t bore you with the nitty gritty. Basically, you’re going to create a hero or villain and begin proving yourself to your Big Brother savior (folks like Superman) or bad guy (think the Joker). As you complete missions, you’ll earn XP to apply to your moves and loot in the form of costume mods that amplify your powers.
For the rest of the details of the latest demo, check out IGN’s coverage from a recent Sony Entertainment event. Otherwise, get your XBOX 360’s PC’s and PS3’s ready, because soon you’ll be able to supe it up with the best of them – including yours truly!
We’ll share more info as it comes, but for now it’s safe to assume a $59.99 price tag.
