Ok. You better get ready to hold on to your hats and socks because we just got a LOT of information, and we’re going to share it all with you, our loyal readers and friends.

Of course, one thing to note – this is all generally “spoilers.” What follows is all the various information that Diamond revealed during the retailers summit that will be coming soon in July and beyond from every company (not just the big two). I am going to go ahead and give a guess that you’ll be hearing about all these various things through solicits anyway, but if you would rather sit and wait, I respect your decision. Hence the anti-spoiler cut.

Of course, as these things are “officially” reported (i.e. no one is being sneaky since clearly MC and our source are not retailers), we will break the news on the site normally.

If you DO want to find out about all this various information broken down into nice little bulletin points for easy reading, read on…

  • Dynamite has made an offer that, if retailers are willing to agree, they’d like ALL of their single issue series to be returned in trade for a trade. (Woah.)
  • Expect a lot more from the Green Hornet camp.
  • Dynamite has books slated for Vampirella, an upcoming Garth Ennis book about Jeniffer Blood and two mini-series for The Boys focusing on Hughie and Butcher.
  • Dynamite is offering a deal with companies like the Dabel Brothers and Liquid Comics.

    Marvel

    • Starting in September, a new era of Fantastic Four will come. It was shown by way of the F4 logo with a 3 replacing the 4. Hmm…
    • Andy Diggle and Billy Tan are collaborating on the Shadowland project, which promises to be a “family event” book and “shake up the street level characters” (with focus on Daredevil, obviously).
    • The Punisher vs The Marvel Universe – it’s about the Punisher killing everyone. Alright.
    • There will be a story coming out called The Death Of Dracula, which will be important to how the Marvel Universe handles death.
    • Things to expect from Marvel in the upcoming months:
      • The reveal of the Rulks true identities

DC

  • Two new titles will come out from DC (assumedly Wildstorm) – 30 Days Of Night (huh??) and X-Files.
  • Suicide Squad will be reprinted in full color in 2011.
  • Coming soon in trade form:

    • A story WRITTEN by series artist Buckingham and DRAWN by series writer Willingham. (I hope it has stick figures)

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
