Over at Collider, they have a breakdown of the list of toys that are going to be released for “Guardians of the Galaxy”, and sometimes, these include a character that may not actually appear in the movie, but in this case, I think the extra person included might just be legit given the direction of the comic series.

So Iron Man makes it onto the list, and he is someone who has been appearing in the galactic adventures of Brian Michael Bendis’ “Guardians of the Galaxy” run. Is it so far fetched he could be appearing? Collider mentions that it isn’t in his contract to appear, but I wager that Marvel is smart enough to keep things like that away from the public. It will be interesting to see, but I’d be bet we’ll be seeing him at least in a post-credits way.
