Dini Joins the Ultimate Spider-Man Team

We have known for quite some time now that an Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon, based off of Brian Michael Bendis’ comic of the same name, has been in the works. Only a bit more than a week ago fans were notified that the “Man of Action” team of Joe Kelly, Joe Casey, Duncan Rouleau, and Steven Seagle would be joining Bendis as creative staff for the show, and now one more heavy-hitter is joining the bunch: television (and superhero) veteran Paul Dini. Dini has had animation experience with Batman: The Animated Series, Justice League Unlimited and much more. According to Dini in his interview with MTV’s Splash Page, the show will be 50% material recycled from the comic and 50% new material in the same vein. Expect to see the show on Disney XD in the Fall of 2011.
