DC has released an ominous teaser with a simple phrase over on their blog, The Source. It is both ominous, foreboding, and perhaps timed to combat Marvel.
If the image looks familiar, it should. The picture is reminiscent of the black bagged cover to Superman #75, the death of Superman at the hands of Doomsday. Doomsday has certainly reappeared multiple times since then, and Superman’s ongoing has just received a new writer – Chris Roberson. Is it possible that Roberson is going to kill the Man of Steel? And could it be that DC is attempting to combat the buzz of Marvel’s Death of Spider-Man?
Only time will tell.
