Drinking Dunkin Donuts Will Turn You Into A Hero

Of course as soon as I notice something and report it, it would just pop up everywhere I go, now wouldn’t it?

So I told you about the random cup of coffee I got emblazoned with a Captain America shield. Now it appears that the Dunkin Donuts market push has come out full swing. Not only is there a see-through coffee cup, but you can also get a limited edition Cherry Coolatta, a jelly-filled donut shaped like a star (it’s pretty good!), a red-glazed donut not filled with anything, or – are you ready for this? – the Tri-Cup, a cup sectioned off to hold three different coolatta flavors so you can have your pick of which you want (although the suggestion is red, white, and blue flavor obviously).

On top of all that, we have the brand new TV spot featuring one brave man’s quest to save a woman’s dog and, in the process, becoming the hero we all knew he could be. He also enjoys Cherry Coolatta!

I don’t think it’s hard to imagine that the upcoming Captain America film, given Marvel’s track record so far, will be quite good. However, if it isn’t we’ll always have this commercial.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
