Generally speaking, the origins of a comic stemming from a series of sketches by a talented artist that inspired cosplayers the world over is probably not the most promising start you could conceive.
But if someone could once upon a time make a good movie out of a theme park ride (the first Pirates of the Caribbean, not the other 87 afterwards), I am 100% certain that the talented duo of Joshua Dysart (Unknown Soldier) and Camilla D’Errico can turn her property “Helmet Girls” into an excellent OGN come 2012.
Not much is known about this project as of yet, but with the names attached, I can say wholeheartedly that this is a project to watch. Dysart could imbue a toilet paper commercial with humanity, and D’Errico’s art is simply stunning.
