This is announcement we’ve been waiting for for quite some time: it was revealed that the online webcomic “Bucko” has now found a physical home at Dark Horse Comics for an upcoming print release!
Written by Jeff Parker and illustrated by Erika Moen, the book is a comical murder mystery about a young man named Bucko who, on a job interview, finds himself face to face with a dead body in a bathroom. With the help of some young ladies (and the promise of a threesome), Bucko is placed on an epic odyssey through Portland to clear his name, get a job and maybe get a good night’s sleep (or something similar, if you know what I mean). The physical will reportedly be full of bonus material, including “the Juggalette’s Tale” and a brand new epilogue featuring the “fabled three-way” (assumedly too risque for the internet).
Dark Horse is doing a terrific job of putting out print collections of webcomics, with collections of “Axe Cop” and “Dr. McNinja” on sale now and Mike Norton’s “Battlepug” upcoming.
Full of Suicide Girls, Juggalos and bikes, the comics a hilarious little online experiment for Parker and Moen. But why take our word for it? You can read the entire comic online for free right now (as you should, since it’s great), and pick yourself up a nice physical copy in stores September 19th, 2012.
