It had been lightly teased last month, but today we know what’s up: Warren Ellis has returned to comic land with artist Jason Howard, and he’s doing it with a daily strip called “Scatterlands.”

The strip, as Ellis describes, is a completely improvised webstrip where we’re given one panel a day, and it will run daily at Ellis’ website. Beyond the above teaser image and the below first comic/panel, we know very little. But, hey, it’s Warren Ellis and Jason Howard. What more do you need?

Check out the first comic/panel below, and check Ellis’ site daily for updates.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
