Just announced at the Hall H Marvel Studios panel but previously highly rumored, Evangeline Lilly has been cast as Hope Van Dyne, the daughter of Hank Pym and presumably Janet Van Dyne, in “Ant Man.” She’s likely also going to be Scott Lang/Paul Rudd’s love interest in the film, but you know, we’ll have to wait for the film to find out.
Also, it sounds like Corey Stoll (“Midnight in Paris”, “The Strain”) will be the villain Darren Cross, who will also be Yellowjacket (normally a Pym character) and will be squaring off against Ant Man in full costume. Interesting stuff. More coming from Hall H as we get it.
Filming for “Ant Man” will begin August 18th in Atlanta. It’s all happening.
