Everybody Against X-Force In Year Of The X-Men

The above teaser was just released from Marvel, and boy, does this bring up some issues! Not only does it sort of give credence to the rumor that Wolverine will be leaving the X-Men and making his own solo team to go against Cyclops, but look at the group of people apparently opposing the team. Archangel is missing, and apparently despite Fantomex killing Apocalypse, it looks like the X-Force are going to have to go up against several characters from the Age Of Apocalypse. What? Confused? Well, that’s definitely AoA Sabretooth and Nightcrawler, and considering their 616-counterparts are both dead as Dillinger, your guess is as good as mine as to how they’re coming to our world. Out goes the Age Of X and here comes the return of the Age Of Apocalypse?

We’ll have more information as we get it, but for now look forward to the all new mission for the X-Force, starting at issue #11 from Rick Remender and Mark Brooks.

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
