So, you may have noticed throughout the week that across several of the big websites, BOOM! Studios has been releasing a very curious teaser campaign. It started on Robot 6 at CBR, moved to Bleeding Cool, popped by Newsarama and then found itself at ComicVine. No one knows what the teaser campaign is for and BOOM! certainly isn’t telling.

Well, today, the train stops here.

We’re proud to give you the fifth teaser here at Multiversity, though we can’t tell you any more of what it actually is. However, what we can tell you is that it’s for a new noir series in April, that it will be full-color despite the look of the teaser, that this will be the writer’s first all original print work (having worked on some for-hire properties) and that the artist is brand new to the comic scene, though BOOM! is insanely confident with his work that will leave — direct quote — “a grand impression.”

Hmm. A riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma.

We can’t tell you any more, nor do we know what it is… but we’re certainly excited to find out. Aren’t you?

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
