With their work on Vertigo’s “Daytripper,” Fábio Moon and Gabriel Bá have begun to hit rarefied air as the only primarily artist comic creators that would make my “Favorite Creators” list. The two of them are absolutely phenomenal storytellers, and manage to tell stories with a lot more soul and emotion than most of their compatriots. They are some of the best in the biz, and now its slipped that they’ll be releasing a new self-published work called “Atelier” at this weekend’s NYCC, Crack Bang Boom in Rosario, Argentina and Rio Comicon in Rio de Janeiro.

ComicsAlliance has an exclusive teaser up, and it features more of the same absolutely gorgeous art that we’ve come to expect from the duo. Check out those pieces above and after the jump, and if you’re attending NYCC make sure to pick up a copy (and for the love of god – get me one too!).
