It seems Fábio Moon is visiting Portland, Oregon (the rising Mecca of American comics), and while he and Craig Thompson (his host in Stumptown) are together they are tracking their activities with a “blog war.”
“Blog War” may be a bit melodramatic for what this actually is, but as Craig Thompson notes on his site, it’s more of a Blog Crossover. Considering how prodigious of talents Thompson and Fábio Moon are, this is the “Crisis of Infinite Earths” of blog x-overs. The two renowned creators are posting updates in the form of mini-comics (blending both creators works), so far detailing their attendance of a release party for Portland’s own Menomena and a brilliant evening of comicking and conversation with the Allred’s, a Dark Horse editor, and Joe Sacco.
Keep up to date with this ongoing blog-a-logue at Craig’s and Fábio’s sites, as anything new from these two phenoms should be welcomed with open arms by comic fans.
