Just in time for San Diego Comic Con 2013 to rear its head in our general direction, “Fanboys vs Zombies” latest issue gets a new cover — and we’ve got your exclusive first look! Of course, by now the team isn’t at San Diego and are in fact in Mexico with the Wrecking Crew (featured on the above Gaylord cover), but hey, it’s all fun and games, right?

The issue, written by Shane Houghton (of MC favorite “Reed Gunther” fame) and illustrated by series artist Jerry Gaylord, is out in October.

“4 Stories of the Apocalypse” is back with a blast from the past…and a peek at what’s to come! Following their escape from San Diego, Rob and Burger hunkered down in Mexico to lick their wounds. But once they rejoined the Wrecking Crew, whatever happened to the kind-hearted, train-drivin’ Mexicans who helped save their lives? Find out here!

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
